A permanent home for Moldovan health science
The Moldovan Journal of Health Sciences carries research from Chișinău into the international record — peer-reviewed, open to all, and kept for good.
MJHS was founded in October 2014 at Nicolae Testemițanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy, with a straightforward aim: to give the health sciences of a small country a serious, citable, international voice.
We are a fully open-access, double-blind peer-reviewed journal, published quarterly in English. Every article is free to read from the day it appears — no subscription, no article-processing charge, no embargo — and is registered with a Crossref DOI so it can be found and cited anywhere.
The journal publishes original research, reviews, clinical studies and case reports, brief reports, editorials and correspondence across medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, social medicine and public health. Editorial decisions follow the recommendations of the ICMJE and the ethics practices of COPE, independent of any commercial interest.
It is intended for a working readership — clinicians, researchers and students — and it is classified as a Category B scientific journal in Moldova, registered in the National Bibliometric Instrument (IBN) and abstracted in Scilit.
